HISTORY OF «COMPOSITE T.A.»

In the Republic of Tajikistan, the tasks related to the population’s access to clean water and sanitation, as well as irrigation and land reclamation, have always been a priority, and the Government of the country has always paid special attention to them. Over the years of independence, large funds have been allocated to address these issues, both from the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and from various international financial institutions.

Every year, various projects are implemented in the country for the construction of new or reconstruction of existing networks.

In this regard, there is a need for timely provision of these projects with the necessary materials, in particular, pipes of various diameters with appropriate parameters of rigidity and resistance to various pressures.

Taking into account all these factors, the Tajik company “Avesto Group” together with the Azerbaijani company “Azcomposite” agreed to establish an enterprise in the Republic of Tajikistan for the production of fiberglass pipes “Composite T.A.”

In September 2019, the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon and the mayor of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali, with the participation of other high-ranking officials laid the foundation stone for the new enterprise in the China district of Dushanbe.

Within two years, the enterprise was completely built. On the territory of 4 hectares, a modern production complex was built from scratch, which uses the most advanced technologies for the manufacture of fiberglass pipes.

The opening ceremony of the joint venture was held on 28.08.2021 with the participation of the Head of the Republic Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon.

As noted above, the goal of “Composite T.A.” is the production and supply of world-class fiberglass pipes and fittings with diameters from DN400 to DN3000 for sustainable solutions to problems of domestic water supply and sewerage in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as in neighboring countries of the Central Asian region.

The technology of “Composite T.A.” is completely based on the know-how of spiral winding used by “Azkompozit”. This technology has been used for many years in the production of fiberglass pipes for various purposes, such as the delivery of drinking water, irrigation, sewage drainage, as well as for the needs of hydropower and other industries.
